The one that stays

He was a senior 

Few years older

Work in the day

Classes at night

Hardworking to get money

And get into university 

They met at university

Same class, to be exact

Charmed by his religious principles

They got married

During his golden years

Went abroad for some time

She stayed here

Loyally managing

Three kids

All grown up now

Valuable in their own fields

By her golden touch

Now he has grown older

So was she

80 years of living 

And still aging

Day and night 

She took care of him

No complaint to be heard

Just holding on patiently

Eventhough his memory was fading

His love for her never did

"My queen", he declared

To everyone he meets.
